went to River Cruise yesterday. it was only the day before dat fel said she's going wif angeline as well. fortunately she's scheduled to be on the same cruise as me! if not i'll surely DIE. i'll be so overwhelmed by the crowd dat i'll start panicking or something, not to mention i dont noe anyone at all. but eventually, i was still overwhelmed anyway, bcos this is the 1st time i've seen sooo many asians at once since i came here. seriously very very happy at the sight. imagine a whole boat packed wif asians. =)=)=)
our table was so funny. everyone kept coming n going so at our table, we got to know alot diff. ppl. and i think we were the youngest? cos most of dem are in uni. but they were all very friendly=) and boy did we eat ALOT. we jus kept grabbing food and ppl who walked past saw the amount of satay sticks n were like so shocked. lol. and me n fel went outside to enjoy the sea breeze. den she was playing wif the door and in the end really cannot open, so many ppl were locked outside n inside. damn funny. the skit was super hilarious as well. so rubbish. haha.
i heard dat over here, catholics n christians are very closely tied. actually i din wanna go for service cos i felt really weird. but i went anw. den at UWA's lecture hall, i met a girl frm SINGAPORE. haha! her name very funny. she's called bi jia, n she said alot ppl make fun of her name. den i say, yar like bi jia(BROKEN) liddat. lol. she's very nice la. talk DAMN LOT. and guess wad? SHE'S FROM SA!!! omg~so we got excited n talk talk talk NON-STOP. den we went for dinner. and we were talking throughout dinner. den after dinner we went to Oriel for coffee. and we were still talking. den nicholas had to call for TIME OUT when it was time to go. lol. den dey say my ears must be very tired. but i rather haf more ppl like her den sit dere stoning and feeling totally out of place. den we talk bout miss K n when she was in SA and orchard road n bugis street and i made her miss spore too!!! haha. and we haf the same lip balm frm spore oso!
wah~so tired dat i fell aslp in the car n i was kinda blur and it was so dark. so i thought i saw the car yard, so i say go str8. aft awhile i look out n i was thinking this place doesn't look familiar at all leh..and dey had no map in the car. so scared i couldn't get home. lol. but i did la. immediately crashed onto the bed.
and i had a very bad nightmare abt man eating fish 2 nights in a row! seriously scary! i think its bcos i was complaining to fel dat i haven had fish in a really really long time. i tink my memory must be damn bad now. so i dreamt i was running away frm man eating fish. when i woke up my head was off the pillow n my body was twisted in a weird manner. tink i was really running in my slp. haha. so scary.
many asians whom i spoke to wanna get PR here aft studying here for few yrs. sigh. i wanna go home!!!

working was kinda fun actually! at least i didn't stay home to rot the weekends away. on saturday morning, this family of 4 came in. they were frm norway, and fel asked them how to say wads ur name in norwegian. so she asked the lil' boy (who cant speak english), and he said something like "ei noah" he's so cute! chomping away on the cookie. haha. omg, his baby sister was even cuter!!! she's so small and adorable. i jus smiled and wave at her and she was so cheerful. her smile was like MEGA but NO TEETH. lol. and cos she was strapped to the pram, den she wanted to get up. so she use all her strength, den suddenly she *BOM*, fall back, and her face strained until all red ready. den we kept on laughing at her, cos she kept doing that. SO CUTE.

and on sunday, i ate banana n cheese toast. didn't noe it cld be so yummy! and i took this order frm this guy who wanted manhattan super plus hashbrowns. so i wrote plus hasbrowns. den after awhile my auntie came and pointed to the docket and said to me, "how can liddat!? why u so jian one?" den i was super confused, thought i took wrong order or wad. so i bent closer to look at the docket. i saw, my auntie wrote over 'hashbrowns', she wrote HANDSOME MAN. haha. she say mayb you show him den he give u tips. den i looked outside and say, pui, he's not handsome at all. den i wrote handsome man NOT. haha. later he dont wanna pay $$$. luckily he din request to see it. if not i die man. my auntie is so funny n cute. once she ordered a coffee, den she say the lady in black wants it. i looked ard n asked, "where got lady in black?" cos there was NOBODY in the cafe. den she still say, "there, the very pretty one lor." after that i saw my cousin frm bhind pointing to my auntie, den i understand she was referring to herself. LOL. not bad leh, she very young at heart and very IN. sometimes in the car we sing korean songs or I THINK I, she will hum n make sounds effects, den very funny.
yest n the night before, mich, fel n i watched "jian gui 10", "red shoes" and "doll master". 2nd time i watching "the eye 10" den mich n fel laughed damn loud, esp at the part where the guy hit the bowl with chopsticks den *piang*, and all the ghost can see him. den suddenly very quiet, and the sound seems different, den the camera show he hitting his teeth with the chopsticks. damn hilarious. haha. den we ended up squeezing in the same room cos mich was scared. lol.

*cross my fingers* my mom said she will look for budget airlines for me. yes! i really really hope i can go back. =)

i remember wad i wanna say already!

now i noe how small the world actually is even though i'm so far away frm home. for every s'porean i meet, i'd ask dem, "there aren't many s'poreans are there?" it's become my standard qns ready. actually, i think there are only a few. i got to know nicholas today and he said he knows abt 6 in canning college. 6 only!! sigh. den he ask me where i live in s'pore. typical question coming frm fellow s'poreans la...so i said punggol, and he ask which part. and i was thinking, shld i say? since not many ppl noes where punggol is even. but i told him anw...den he was like wad block??? and i said 126, den he say chey...but surprise surprise, he lives opposite my block!!! yeah, small world.

and there's another sheralyn frm s'pore here as well. yup, different spelling. and she told me this person talked to her on msn thinking she's me or something and got us all mixed up. but we are wayyyyyy different in person, as different as chalk n cheese. ppl were like, did u see the two sherilyns? so different right? haha. she's got short hair while mine's long. she coloured her hair and she's got piercings. i think one on her brow, and the other donno where. uh huh...totally different. really such a coincidence la.

and then sean/shawn, sam n nicholas were chatting chatting chatting bcos they are all christians and they like have so many things to ask each other. and nicholas asked me if i wanna go to their church. shld i? the church dat i go to on sundays is really QUIET. its sooo quiet that ur sneeze is echoed n amplified, and the floorboards creak beneath ur feet even though u tread real softly. the ppl are so sparsely seated, unlike the crowded-ness of churches in s'pore. i really miss that sight.

i just hope sch gets better n better n better.

-_-" everything dat i typed yesterday is GONE. i hate when this happens. urgh...so lazy to type again. nvm. i still haf time.

yest i had an amusing dream. i dreamt dat i was in SA but the campus was more open air so it didn't seem like SA. den they had uniforms on sale. and they even had jumpers n blazers to go wif. (the cold must haf gotten to me) i went up to ask how much is it. WAD!? 300 bucks for a set...but i really wanted to buy the uniform to bring to aust. haha. so i approached this cute guy and told him to buy for me. but, i dont know wad happened after dat. haha.

the weather here is cranky. few days ago it was sooo hot. i didn't think i wld be experiencing temp. higher den in s'pore. it had to be the hottest of the hottest man. almost 40 degrees. i was evaporating at a super high speed. and two days later, i woke up in the morning shivering. so the weather has mood swings too. crappy cranky weather. i hope it stays this cool.

you know, when i came here everything was totally different frm back home right? but when the ppl of different countries came together, something still remained the same. they say my handwriting like type out frm the computer. haha. exactly the same thing. now sam is trying to write like me. yar, try very very hard. haha. but his handwriting is superbly neat for a guy. neatest i've seen. haha, not dat in ZH there were many guys wif neat handwriting. the teachers use to say like chicken scratch. lol.

i'm so guilty for not blogging for so long!!! no i'm not dead yet!

urgh. the day before i was just going to blog abt how hot izzit here but the next day when i woke up, OMG its so cold. i didn't noe weather could have mood swings too. just a few days ago, it was the hottest of the hottest man. i didn't noe i cld experience temp. higher den s'pore. and it was SO HOT dat u wld get headaches n feel like u're suffocating. but when i woke up today, i was curled up like a ball shivering in bed. crazy weather. but i hope it stays this cool.

i haf IS test TMR!!! omg, i'm a computer idiot. hope i can make it. accounting is still fun and less confusing alr. math is still boring. eng is still like learning the geography of aussieland. econs makes me n everyone else sleepy, esp aft lunch.
rewind rewind back to 14 FEB cos i din get to wish everyone happy V day! so here's a belated one! haha.

today i arrived in sch so early that i've got nothing to do. yest i blogged in a hurry but my post is gone!!! so here i am in sch, thinking & writing down what i wanna blog abt later. so dumb. omg~its freezing cold out here, and its hot too. like how can it be hot n cold at the same time right? i dont noe whether to wear a jacket or not bcos its hot n cold. -_-"
sch's okaye, i can get thru the day...but its kinda like a challenge for me. and eating lunch has become a chore as well. i hate it that i hate lunch break bcos i'm always famished by that time n i absolutely love eating, problem is, i cant find anyone to sit with. well, i tried really hard, and i've been sitting with many random ppl these few days. but the feeling of sticking out like a sore thumb isn't nice, esp when the ppl u're sitting with doesn't have much to say to u. urgh, its way too ridiculous to hate lunch.
ELACS ain't exactly eng class. it stands for eng lang cultural studies, but it feels like history and geography really. esp when we had to fill out the map of australia, and i was trying real hard not to fall aslp while the video was playing. reminds me of kelvin tan's history lessons & those videos we slept thru'. haha. sam said the aboriginals are rude, so i told him the incident where my cousin's fren was spat on(YUCK!). den he say if u see them just run, sure die one. LOL.
MATH IS BORING! not only can't i see the teacher, i can't see his words as well! i had sucha hard time scrutinizing the board. and how on earth do i use a graphics calculator?!?
hmm...accounting is still fun, i hope it doesn't get too complicated though.
sam speaks with a malaysian accent. finally i dont haf to try to slang, my tongue gets so tired. he said his car, which used to be his mum's car, was soooo ugly. so he modified it and even replaced his number plate in front with his nickname. cool huh? den he started playing "ling chen san dian zhong" and said it was his fav song, but its hard to get chinese songs here. the funny thing is he started singing along too, haha. but it wasn't bad at all cos he went for singing lessons i think. and he played "Be Home Soon" be Frankie J and said, "how nice if i can sing this to my gf" so i told him to sing over the fone la. and he could say its not romantic enuf...LOL. he even told me his ex gf was hot, cos she's mix blood n she was the cover girl for 17mag. like how much would you share with someone u've only met for 4 days? he talks alot la...but easy going is good=)

but i really miss home. i miss the stupid jokes the guys use to crack in class(no matter how lame). i miss using my uni-ball signo 0.28, cos everyone here uses ball point pen. and i miss turning ard to borrow coloured pens frm hj n sometimes jb. i miss seeing jsh hugging our inflatable pillows, slping while history videos are playing. i miss eating with dem during recess, and we could always talk n laugh while in the queue. hmm..i kinda miss shioks' singing. LOL. and hj's aunti-ness cos i dont haf an entertainer here. i miss seeing the type of foolscap we all use. i dont like the lecture pad everyone uses here, they double it up as notebooks. so i just use my own. and i saw a guy in my math class using the simpsons notebook. my cousin says they do dress nicely when they go out, but when it comes to sch, its like they dont really care. they can even use barbie doll notebooks. which reminds me, i really miss shopping for back 2 sch stuff...its like we always have this bad habit of buying new pencil case n bag before sch starts again. everyone i asked is going home during the holidays...not fair. i want $$$!!!

OH MAN...i think i'm gonna die from heat stroke. and i'm only in the hse. i think i'll burn if i step outside. its so stifling in here...makes me sleepy too. wake me up when february ends. i havent adjust my sleeping hours. SHUCKS. sch starts monday. even though the latest i haf to wake up is 7, but i wake up at 10 everyday. i'm so gonna die.

i know O level results are gonna be released soon. (hope my mom rmbs to collect dem for me)
sigh, but i wont be there to see all the jittery-ness n excitement n tears of joy. anyhow, i wanna wish everyone GOOD LUCK! and for those who are in a dilemma as to whether they shld go to poly or jc, or if they shld stay in the same jc...i hope they will find their answers soon.

haha. i wanna tell something funny. the other day i was putting on my contact lenses, den it felt out of place n i couldn't see clearly. so i tried to take it out again, but nothing came out! so i thought, "shucks, its not in my eye!" so i bent down n search the countertop and in the basin. search very long, but dont have. so i thought it must haf been washed away...so i open another left side one n put it in. then i felt really weird, like eh, how come the degree like so deep den so blur ar...den i look closer into the mirror n my left eye was abit bluer than usual. den i realised, OH NO i'm wearing two contact lense in one eye!!! den i faster take out. LOL. how silly can i get huh?
yest i went to sch to choose my subjects. so many administration stuff, i had to fill in a million forms, super sian. majority of the students like so much older. very scary. i feel kinda small. haha. and there were only 9 ppl sitting in the same room as me, all the latercomers, and there's no one i felt like talking to also. den i saw this girl, very very very petite, but her makeup very thick, so i thought she's 18. she look abit like jolin tsai leh. den i heard her say her family name, sounded like jap. so while walking out i asked her where she's frm. she's JAP. how cool. but when she said she's 22 i was kinda shocked, cos i thought she's only 17 or 18. pity she's doing yr 11. u see, that's why yr 12 prolly have lotsa older ppl too. funny how in s'pore we always feel so old. if u're feeling old can come here, u'll surely feel alot younger n smaller. lol. aft dat mich n i headed to the city. went to the chinese cafe FORMOSA (again) to haf lunch. see, we're still very rooted to our asian culture~den we met the jap girl dere too. hahas.
so tired today. last nite watched "love at harvard" (korean sequel) wif fel. everytime we finished watching one disc, fel kept asking to watch another...and we kept saying OK last one ar. but in the end we watched till 2am. haha. but the show has got alot of eye candy! (as in pretty girls) HAHA. for tearjerker, MUST watch "The Classic" its a movie, the storyline abit ridiculous but i think its very special. oh yar~tis morning i had a very funny/weird dream. cos last nite i was talking to fel about how the sch took n threw away all our art works dat we so painfully drew...den she showed me hers. SO, i dreamt i was gonna draw the big big eye, the one we drew in sec2. den a dumbass guy in sch said something like "you can draw my eye, my eye is very nice." and he recommended his friend's eye as well. *roll eyes* like wad the...i almost felt like poking his eye la. den i dreamt i was at this chalet, and i was supposed to go to sch, prolly to collect O levels results (cos i keep thinking bout how i will not be there to get mine) BUT i couldn't find my uniform...so, i saw this green pinafore n i jus took it. like nvm la, since ZH so green (YUCKS!) but after i put it on, it bcame BLUE! ( must be i miss my pri sch uniform too much, still feeling sad that it was thrown away) and i woke fel up n said, "eh fel, u see, ur uniform SOooOoo long." den i look down, its until my ankle! LOL. dat was when mich woke me up to answer the fone, and it was fel, so i told her of my stupid dream n her SUPER DUPER LONG pinafore. hahas.
sigh. you know how when i was in s'pore, i use to complain about my life being so routine. now i dont even have a routine and i'm feeling all wrong. my life is like so ANYHOW.
