finally over and done with!!! but not feeling 101% happiness right now cos i'm down with a cough that's draining the energy outta me. i can almost imagine the virus floating about around the house. it's extremely deadly, as my aunt puts it. my uncle caught it first, and not even one of us was spared from it. i can't even talk now. so much for 'enjoy your holidays!' bummer. i hope i dont spread it to the others, even though celine's mum says its my chance of recovering faster. lol. anw, andy shld really disinfect his car and celine shld disinfect her house. afterall i spent so much time there yest. lol.

first we had lunch at Chinatown. vietnam beef noodles! YUM! headed over to celine's and watched this dvd abt Jolin's concert . we wanted to watch Mr. Bean for a good laugh but it just wouldnt play. the player shut down automatically after andy scolded it "废物!!", which was pretty funny. and we just watch random variety shows for i dont know how many hrs till her mum came back & we had dinner. we watched "Silk", which we rented from Chinatown earlier. not a bad story, at least there's one. but we all cant believe 大S died 20min into the show!! and Danny was right, she didn't die pretty. i guess i'm really very much immune to horror movies now, either that or it wasnt horrifying. and then it was random variety shows again. i think andy must have said, "we'll go back after this" at least 3 times. but we ended up watching one after another. haha. the thing was when both of us left, Celine, Danny & their mum were all slping soundly by then. so nice to slp in the hall together with ur family isn't it? good thing her hse is sooo near. it was abt 3 when got home, stupid cough kept me up all night. tsk.


hmm. i really dont think such a simple & pure relation exists.

came across this sentence when i was going thru' my tute answers provided by my lecturer....

"Please consider what motive i might have for providing such a detailed answer to this question."

LOL. and i always thought uni would be really tough and would consist of loads of independent studies. but most of the lecturers/tutors have been nice enough to give us major hints. and i really mean major. i should have wrote nicer comments on those feedback forms, not that i wrote bad stuff about them, but i wrote NOTHING. haha. was too lazy and ticking some boxes was all.

i love love love IKEA~! still pretty confused abt the way different ppl pronounce it differently. there are now 3 different ways of saying I-K-E-A. mmm...i really miss the yummy one dollar hotdog and ice-cream! but we had the swedish meatballs, poached salmon, pumpkin soup and a fruit tart for lunch instead. i just adore the furniture and everything there.

friday nights have never been better. not only do i get to watch talented ppl sing on satellite TV in the comfort of celine's home, i also get a taste of her mom's superb culinary skills! maybe even better than my mom's. MAYBE. (my mom will be really jealous if i mention this to her. lol.) anw, the program is called 超级星光大道 and it's really not bad. i think its up on youtube. those taiwanese singers, no, i shld say they're only contestants, but they are far far better than many other singers out there who have albums, really. i got "chicken scare all over the body" just listening to them sing, (haha...really miss 我猜) they soooo deserve to be applauded.

AND !-!-! i'm really excited for celine & danny's new venture. hope they'll do great and that everything will go well for them. aw...i can't wait to see all the yummy stuff they be bringing back from taiwan. we chatted till like 3.30am after the show, coming up with all sorts of random names that just didn't work and then concluded that we really need more slp. pity i didn't have any weird dreams for inspiration last night cos i said i'd think in my slp. well i guess it's hard to have dreams when you only get 2 hrs of slp.

meanwhile, it's back to more mugging. people couldn't be anymore dead.

this is really sad. seems like 99% of winter will be gloomy. esther finally understands the meaning of winter blues. she's fallen ill. hope she gets well soon. she revealed to me the existence of a microwave that we can use for free hidden in some room which is at the basement level. i reckon nobody ever finds out that secret hiding place. its called the women's room btw, weird? i wonder if guys have gone in to heat up their food. and that means i wont have to suffer cold lunch...yay-ness. am getting bored from sandwiches & aroma cafe's pasta now. mayo cafe actually charges 50cents per microwave usage. i bet its dusty & becoming obsolete from sitting there untouched.

i was gonna talk about the weather, forever digressing. i guess u're a really really sanguine person if you can beat the winter blues w/o any effort. it can be quite depressing. say, you never know which direction the rain will come from and sometimes having an umbrella is as good as not having one. cos the wind blows in a direction such that the rain still attacks you from under the umbrella. and that's what happened to me on thurs. my shoes were soaked, which was really icky. i couldn't stand another hour of ickiness, so i gave IFIM tute a miss. my first time ever missing tutorial. lol. what a goody-two-shoes i am. regarding umbrellas, have you ever seen "The Selfish Umbrella"? (term given by esther cheng) i can't really describe it. it has a really cute shape, but yeah, i guess its selfish in a way. lol.

another sad thing. it gets really dark when its only 6pm. like, pitch black. don't think i'll be able to see my 5 fingers if i stood outside (recall the chinese cheng yu, lol). and the street lights are so dim i wouldn't even notice them hovering above me. its pretty scary to be out that late. even though any time before 10 would be early. i'm so glad i dont have classes ending at 5 or even 7pm. it's 10.30 right now, and it should be freezing cold outside. gotta brace myself! going over to celine's place to watch a taiwan singing competition. i love variety shows!!! that's why i want a satellite!! and then i'll probably slp at 1am every night after watching taiwan dramas due to the time difference. think andy shld be arriving any time soon. gtg~
