i woke up super early yest, relative to everyone else that is. they were still making up for the lack of sleep for the past few days. went for italian gelato while waiting for celine & family to reach home. had baci and tiramisu while andy had one flavour i forgot and grasshopper (which is a very funny green colour that reminds me of shrek somehow, but its actually mint) we both thought baci was kinda like 'bai chi'. lol. and i agree with him that the owner was too talkative. haha. but he told me baci actually means 'kiss' and tiramisu means 'lift me up'. hmm. interesting. the shop had the airconditioner turned on though. but that made it all the more freezingly yum! andy said it gets really crowded at night. now who says you cant have ice cream in winter? i was sooo tempted to buy a tub back. been so long since i've had cold treats. but my cousins are gonna be so disappointed to watch me eating if my aunt tells them NO. such a pity.

later at her house, celine ended up curling my hair for me when she had wanted to do hers initially. having done that, she looked at me and said, "it's your birthday, how can you look so 朴素(simple)?" so she became my makeup artist and i just had to ask, "i thought you're only doing my hair?" she said i should in the limelight today and i musn't look too plain for my birthday. lol. she was too nice really. i felt like a princess that night all thanks to her.

was quite surprised when they said we'll go to handorf for dinner. cos it takes about 40min to get there and ppl usually go only during the hols. furthermore it was pitch black outside. but we managed to reach there in like 20min? it was sunmi's first time at the german village so she and her friend were like so excited. lol. they were too cute. went to Zorro and we had steak & ribs, while sunmi and her friend had kangeroo. i tried some as well, and it's not my 1st time btw. but the rest didnt dare. i've never seen such a huge portion of steak before. it would prolly take 3 persons in my family to finish that. and i had my first pint of bit burger! not too bad for beer. i wanted to keep the empty pint for keepsake but they took it away & i didn't realise it=( it was quite embarrassing for them to see me go so red. apparently my blood circulation is very good. haha. sunmi was really funny when she kept fanning my face and said "hot, hot" lol.
the rest of them had to fork out 20bucks & celine's dad paid the rest, including mine. i really really felt upper middle-class type of grandeur that night. haha. at that moment i was thinking, "天啊，我也未免太幸福了吧!" we traded casino for 星光大道, so we headed back to celine's place. i dont know if it's true but i think we reached home in about 15min? kang eun was prolly feeling abit queasy, being so full plus we were travelling at 110km/h on the highway. sunmi said andy was really comfortable being around celine's parents, bcos in korea, when they are with their bf's family they usually feel uncomfortable. what celine did was to explain to them that "andy's face is very thick" and they understood! LOL. i love the cake they got for me! it was so savoury!!! i can already feel that i'm 2kg heavier. lol.

i really couldn't bear to reach for my makeup remover that night when i got home. good times always end too quickly. i think i know how cinderella must have felt when the clock struck 12.

if there's one thing i really want for my birthday, it would be for my wish to come true.

happy birthday to myself :) i feel old!!! haha. nah. actually i think 18 is a nice age to be. it'd be great if time could freeze here. how time flies. sigh.

after being holed up at home for the past week socializing with the flu virus and being unable to speak for 5 whole days, i'm finally free!!! celine's place is fast becoming my 3rd home. haha. i love going over. her shop is up and ready for shopping! though i'm not sure when's the official opening ceremony taking place but she's already sold some stuff. it looks totally fab! especially after her dad and andy fixed the curtains yesterday. it looks so pretty. it was funny how we were nervous and scrambling about cos she was expecting her first customer. if i were rich i'd patronize too. afterall it feels so nice shopping in the comfort of her living room away from crowds and all, which i really dislike. her dad was joking bout how we placed the curtains on the wrong side of the room. we should have put them on the other side to conceal all the mess instead. lol.

yesterday, we bought really yummy yiros and chicken baguettes for lunch, and then got down to setting prices for the accessories. i could just sit in her living room and stare all day without getting bored. haha. she actually wished nobody would buy the stuff she liked so she could keep them for herself. lol. dinner was sumptuous! i felt as though i was right at home eating with my family on sundays. i almost teared just thinking bout it. there was their dad, mom, aunt, cousins, and it was story telling over dinner. it was interesting. looking at celine's mom & dad makes me wonder if all taiwanese are so humorous and young at heart. there's so much fun, joy and laughter being around them =)

other than that, they were busy with designing logos for their aunt's doughnut shop, which was meant for celine's clothing store initially. my tastebuds are craving for some ponde right now. i can't wait till they open. i drew some cute pics which i thought was stupid. cos i wasn't feeling particularly creative that day, and i dont think i ever had any creative cells in me anw. sunmi and her friend who's visiting from korea came over as well. her friend had some really great ideas! that evening we had steamboat for dinner. =) i like how celine's family is still so energetic at 12am! it's like they never ever sleep. lol.

the whole lot of them wished me happy birthday at midnight and made me act like an idiot before surprising me with the blouse i tried on the day before. i was seriously touched and almost cried. and celine kept reminding me to wear the blouse and that red underwear to dinner today. =X she got this stack of underwear from who knows where which no one wanted. all of em' were L size so we figured it wasn't for us asians. lol. but i guess we wouldn't even wanna wear them if they were the right size. know why? they had the words "let's fly" and "smack" on them. LOL. we were having such a good laugh when we first saw them. celine even made andy wear one on the outside. he looked like superman. hahah. at least the guys' were normal. we might have died laughing then. they think that soon i'll be as crazy as them after hanging out with them so much. and just bcos of something i said which danny & celine didn't hear clearly, they call me 'mm hong hiang'. dont ask me what's that! i have no idea too. lol. they told their dad yest. and even their dad calls me that now! i have so many versions of nicknames now, solely created by them. i hope dinner will be great today, and maybe the red underwear will give me some luck at the casino? lol. nah, i'm not gambling. andy said everytime one of them turns 18 they will go to the casino. sounds like a coming of age rite to me.

i've been coming home at 2 or 3am for the past few days. soooo deprived of sleep!!!but i think its all worth the while. i feel so glad to be blessed with such a wonderful life. i must strive to be contented with what i've got, cos there's really nothing more i should ask for :)

my voice is coming back! YAYness! what's the big deal? you think. has anyone ever tried not speaking for almost a week? but i'm still searching for the other 23% which has denied me from humming & singing. so, i have a deep, husky voice, and i dont sound like a girl now. lol. but other than that, i guess there's nothing stopping me from enjoying my hols!

we're moving soon. in a few days time. i hope i'll like it there plenty, though i'm feeling really neutral abt it now. it should be ok i guess.
